DYNAGLAS® CONDENSATION CONTROL CORRUGATED POLYCARBONATE

Built-in condensation control for horticultural applications

Polycarbonate is inherently susceptible to condensate formation, especially when used to cover totally enclosed environments like greenhouses. DYNAGLAS is made with an exclusive manufacturing process that results in the industry’s first and most extensive 10-year condensate control warranty.

Because effective condensate control is such a critical need for your greenhouse efficiencies, it’s now built into every DYNAGLAS product. Test results prove DYNAGLAS transmits up to 30% more PAR light and 45% more infrared energy during condensation formation periods, while reducing the potential for moisture-related disease.

Dynaglas is available in multiple tints, including Clear, White/Opal, Solar/Grey, and SolarSoft™.

    DYNAGLAS

DYNAGLAS was the first-ever corrugated polycarbonate sheet engineered for commercial greenhouses when first introduced in 1985. Since then, more than 100 million square feet of Palram polycarbonate cover commercial greenhouses throughout North America and around the globe.

Over the past 35 years, Palram has refined DYNAGLAS to include value-added, grower-centric features, such as built-in condensation control and SolarSoft light diffusion tints, that increase your productivity, resulting in longer-term performance and more predictable results.

    Typical applications:

    • Roofs
    • Side walls
    • Partitions
    • Barriers
    • Doors
  • DYNAGLAS SOLARSOFT™ MAX

The industry’s highest daily light integral (DLI) & guaranteed condensate control for horticultural applications.

    DYNAGLAS

Compared to flat coverings, DYNAGLAS SolarSoft Max’s Greca style corrugation allows excellent light transmittance at low sun angles, while maintaining hemispherical light transmittance up to 78 percent.

Combining this corrugation with a unique proprietary formulation allows the DYNAGLAS SolarSoft Max sheet to provide 90 percent light dispersion while maintaining 90 percent light transmission. This results in a deeper penetration of light that is evenly dispersed into the plant canopy, ensuring consistent growth for your crops.

    Benefits:

    • Ideal for high light areas where shading is typically required during summer months, or where growers desire light transmission and diffusion similar to double-poly film or fiberglass.
    • Up to 6% more light into the greenhouse in comparison to other polycarbonate coverings
    • Up to 90% haze value
    • UV2 (UV protection on both sides)
    • Wide service temperature range: -40° F to +212° F (-40° C to +120° C)
    • Anti-condensate coating

Applications

  • Flat Roof Greenhouse

GREENHOUSE COVERING FOR OPTIMAL DLI

DYNAGLAS refracts light at low angles of incidence, reduces reflection, and facilitates more light penetration into the greenhouse than any other material.

The corrugated profile is especially efficient at N45º-N55º latitudes, where during the five critical months between November and March, the sun shines most of the day at low angles of 15º-25º to the horizon.

DYNAGLAS offers high UV protection, which helps maintain a high level of light transmittance. In fact, it loses less than 2% light transmittance over a 20-year-period.

DYNAGLAS SolarSoft™ MAX, with 90% light transmission and 90% diffusion, offers the highest Daily Light Integral (DLI) in the industry!
