Products and Services Offered: Met-Tile’s “tile panel” cool roof system combines the popular look of Spanish tile with the special performance features of metal. It offers superior protection against hurricanes (230+ mph wind rating), hail, fires and pest infestation. The product comes in 10 designer colors that meet or exceed ENERGY STAR® guidelines for solar reflectivity. The 26 GA panels come in 36” width and standard lengths up to 20-ft. It is also available in aluminum for coastal applications.

Background: Met-Tile was founded in Ontario, California in 1984 to manufacture and market a tile facsimile metal panel roofing system to the commercial and residential markets. Met-Tile’s light weight, tile appearance and high performance have made it popular with architects and owners for new construction and reroof applications on schools, hotels, shopping centers, historic buildings and more. In 2005, the company became an ENERGY STAR® partner in recognition of the energy-saving benefits of its product.
