Concave, convex, tapered and tile and shake facsimiles are their specialty. Custom formed accessories and flat stock are also available. ATAS can be a SINGLE SOURCE supplier for any project.
Background: From its beginnings in 1963 as a residential aluminum siding company, ATAS has evolved into a manufacturer of metal roofing, wall and ceiling panels for commercial and residential design and construction. In 1994, ATAS expanded manufacturing to the West Coast. In 2000, the company’s regional position was further strengthened by its acquisition of certain assets of Kovach Inc., a metal wall and roof systems manufacturing plant and several product lines located in Mesa, AZ.
Expansion has also occurred closer to home. In 1999, company officials commemorated a 30,000 sq. ft. addition to the Allentown plant and headquarters. A third plant opened in 2001 in Maryville, TN, producing a number of profiles to distribute from the southern location.
Two major changes happened to ATAS in 2006. First, ATAS’s headquarters became certified to the ISO 9001:2000 Without Design International Quality System Standard. Second, a fourth plant opened in Allentown, PA.
