A variation of Dr-Design’s patented rainscreen metal wall panels were utilized to create a mechanical penthouse atop the recently completed 10-story Edward Jones building in St. Louis, MO. The 1.5mm-thick perforated zinc panels were fabricated by Dri-Design from VM Quartz Zinc. VM Quartz Zinc is produced by Umicore Building Products USA.
The 3,500 sq. ft. of panels were installed by Industrial Sheet Metal of St. Charles, MO. The building was designed by Arcturis, St. Louis, MO.
Zinc is just one of the substrates Dri-Design panels can be manufactured from. Other choices include painted aluminum, copper and stainless steel. All are 100% recyclable. Panels are available in any Kynar color in both standard and custom sizes.
