The North Richland Hills Rec Centre is Tarrant County, TX's first LEED-certified recreation center. Located in North Richland Hills and designed by Brinkley Sargent Architects of Dallas, TX, the 85,000 sq. ft. facility features nearly 13,000 sq. ft. of Preweathered Graphite Gray zinc in its design. The material was by RHEINZINK America Inc., Woburn, MA.
Ramon Franklin of Fort Worth, TX, installed the RHEINZINK material – 11,500 sq. ft. of 1.0 Preweathered Graphite Gray Flat Lock Tile and 1,500 sq. ft. of Preweathered Graphite Gray Interlocking Reveal Wall Panels. MetalTech-USA of Peachtree City, GA, was the RHEINZINK material distributor.
The project's general contractor was Byrne Construction Services, Fort Worth.
