Located in Adrian Michigan, near the Lenawee County Airport is a recently renovated elementary school, Prairie Elementary. The school includes grades K-4.
TMP Architects, in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, designed this renovation project to make the building’s exterior more aesthetically appealing. The metal wall panels, manufactured by ATAS International Inc., required special fabrication of a custom curved sill. These custom panels are visible on the front and back walls of the building.
The custom wall panels were fabricated to match ATAS International Inc.’s Rigid Wall Panel. 22-gauge steel was the material used. Williamsburg Blue and Mojave, two custom colors, were used in this project. The paint finish used was KYNAR 500R .
Over 6,000 square feet of metal wall panels was needed to complete this project. Renaissance Sheet Metal, Redford, MI, installed the material.
