Annmarie Garden Gallery Building

The Annmarie Garden Gallery building is a 14,583 sq. ft. facility that features an art gallery in a public structure garden near Solomon’s Island, MD. The Gallery is affiliated with the Smithsonian Institute and is owned by the Koenig Foundation.

A curved boat-shaped mezzanine is integrated into a bi-level roof with full length clear story glazing and cantilevered second story mezzanine “prows” on the end walls. The building also features exposed interior framing and ceiling with a 10’ continuation of roof to overhang on one sidewall. Scheibel Construction chose to use ABC’s Rigid Frame with a 24 gauge, galvanized Loc Seam 360 roofing system with an aluminum coated coloring manufactured by PPG Industries.

The General Contractor was Scheibel Construction of Huntingtown, MD. The Architect was Wheeler, Goodman, Masek- Rick Kleponis of Annapolis, MD.
