American Buildings Company Names New Sales Manager For South Division

Eufaula, AL - American Buildings Company (ABC) announces the recent appointment of Ken Nichols as the new Sales Manager for ABC - South Division. Nichols began his career as an estimator for an ABC Builder in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and now has more than 17 years of experience in the pre-engineered industry.

Nichols was hired by another Nucor company in 2001 and held several sales positions until becoming a Regional Sales Manager in 2007. In 2011 he took over the role as Sales Service Manager at a Nucor Texas Division.

“We are confident in Ken’s experience and his skills will contribute a great deal toward our continued growth and being the best supplier in the industry,” said Ron Kuenkler, general manager of ABC. “ABC is excited to have Ken on our team.”

Nichols received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a double concentration in management and marketing from Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. Nichols and his family will be locating to Alabama.

“It’s an honor to be able to work with ABC South and all of the great teammates,” said Nichols. “I look forward to what my new position brings.”
