ATAS International Inc. Adopts A Highway

Allentown, PA - ATAS International Inc., a leading metal panel supplier, has adopted a highway - a portion of Tilghman Street in Allentown, PA from Route 100 to Blue Barn Road. Their first cleanup day was held recently.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has a wide variety of beautification programs, including “Adopt a Highway”. ATAS chose to join this concerted effort to help keep Pennsylvania litter-free and visually appealing. They have joined many companies and organizations state-wide to remove litter on Pennsylvania’s collective front yard - its 150,000 acres of roadside.

Dick Bus, President of ATAS, said “As a civic-minded company, we wanted to contribute to keeping our area free of litter for those who live and work here. ATAS is constantly looking for ways to give back to the community, and adopting a highway is a great way to do that.”
