MCA Offers Technical Bulletin On Fastener Selection

Chicago, IL  –The Metal Construction Association has announced the availability of a new technical bulletin entitled Fastener Compatibility with Profiled Metal Roof and Wall Panels. This bulletin serves as a guide for the selection of exposed fasteners used with roof and wall panels.

Profiled metal roof and wall panels rely upon mechanical fasteners to secure the components to a structure. As the MCA notes, "it is very important to select the correct type of fastener for metal construction in order to ensure a strong and weathertight attachment. This Technical Bulletin serves as a guide for the selection of exposed fasteners used with metal roof and wall panels."
