Petersen Aluminum Updates Roster Of Continuing Education Courses For AIA, GBCI Credit

Elk Grove Village, IL - Petersen Aluminum announces that it is now sponsoring four free continuing education courses that construction professionals can complete to earn credits toward various industry certifications and memberships. The four courses, all of which can be taken online, focus on designing and building with metal roof and wall panels.

Petersen Aluminum’s four free online courses address topics including metal roofs, walls panels and architectural metal in general relating to the design and construction of commercial and residential buildings and structures. Each of the four courses is approved by the American Institute of Architects for 1 learning unit, and one of the courses is approved by Green Building Certification Inc. for 1 continuing education hour toward LEED credential maintenance. The four courses include:

Medal-Winning Metal
  Approved for 1 AIA Health Safety Welfare learning unit

Breaking the Rules of Boring Roofs
  Approved for 1 AIA learning unit

Designing with Metal
  Approved for 1 AIA learning unit

Metal Exterior Walls
  Approved for 1 AIA Health Safety Welfare learning unit
  Approved for 1 GBCI continuing education hour
