VMZINC® Partner RapidMaterials To Offer 49.2"-Wide Zinc Sheets
Raleigh, NC – VMZINC®-US, the international brand name of rolled zinc products, has announced the availability of 0.8 mm-thick Natural Zinc sheets in a 49.2" width through RapidMaterials, the company's online retail distribution partner since 2010.
Natural Zinc by VMZINC® is elegant, shiny and smooth when it comes out of the mill. But when installed on the exterior of a building or home, the material weathers and forms a beautifully textured grey patina. The patina’s evolution can take several years to achieve, depending on the location of the panels and other environmental factors.
The standard 39.4" x 120" zinc sheet is equal to one meter in width, whereas the expanded 49.2" x 120" zinc sheet is equal to four feet in width. This size will enable customers to install the sheets more efficiently and reduce overall waste, especially for projects using American units of measurement. This width is particularly useful for interior projects, including countertops, to achieve a flat, seamless aesthetic. VMZINC® was the first zinc manufacturer to offer 49.2"-wide coils in natural zinc.
