Reed's Metals Receives Chamber Of Commerce Honor

Brookhaven, MS - The Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce has presented Reed's Metals with the Industry Of The Year honor for 2017. Since its opening in 1988, Reed's has grown from a 200 sq. ft. shed to eight locations across the Southeastern U.S.

President and Founder Bernie Reed implemented the slogan "Order Today, Pick up Today" that defines a philosophy that has paid off over the years. "Our primary focus is our customer and we work hard to meet their needs every single time, so to be acknowledged for the hard work we do is special to us,” said Reed.

In 2008, the time of Reed's last top industry honor, Industrial Development Foundation Chairman Bill Sones said Reed's Metals had shown other area businesses what it is to grow from the ground up. Since then, Reed's has increased its revenue from $12 million to over $30 million annually.

"Our growth would not be possible without the support of this amazing community and the good people that reside within it," said Reed.
