NASCAR driver Mark Martin utilized 5,200 sq. ft. of Dri-Design wall panels to upgrade the appearance of his new pre-engineered building. Located at the Spruce Creek Fly-In Community in Port Orange, FL, the unique building serves as headquarters for Mark Martin Enterprises as well as the hanger for Martin’s airplane.
The patented Dri-Design Wall Panel System is an affordable dry joint, pressure-equalized rainscreen system.

Installing Dri-Design panels on a new pre-engineered building is becoming more commonplace according to Dri-Design president Brad Zeeff. “We used the pre-engineered, packaged building as the substrate for our panels. The sub-girts were attached over the siding panels and fastened through the siding into the structural steel. This is really an economical way to give an industrial building a Class A appearance.”

Martin personally designed the facility. According to Benny Ertel, business manager for Mark Martin Enterprises, “The sleek, contemporary look is definitely in keeping with the high-tech sport that auto racing has become.”

Installation of the 24” x 24” Silver Metallic-colored, PVDF-finished panels was done by Dri-Design’s own installers.

Martin, now in his 25th year as a professional race car driver, lives near Spruce Creek and travels from race to race on his private jet.
