With a view of the Great Lake that shares its name, Erie Brewing is a 19,310 sq. ft. brewery and pub that was built with Continuous Beam framing from Varco Pruden Buildings.

Erie Brewing was selected as a winner in the Agriculture & Food Processing category in the 2018 Varco Pruden Hall Of Fame presentation.

The building was nestled into an existing hillside with a 4' raised elevation used to provide a view of nearby Lake Erie. To take further advantage of the scenic lake view, an outdoor canopy was part of the construction plan, while inside a mezzanine overlooks the retail space and brewery production areas.

McCormick Structural Systems Inc. was the Authorized VP Builder for this project designed by Bostwick Design Partnership. Both firms are located in Erie, PA, the home of Erie Brewing.

As was expected, visitors enjoy the building's layout and aesthetics. Varco Pruden Buildings' SSR panels, formed from Galvalume-coated steel, were used on the roof. Vee Rib metal panels, in a Colonial Red hue, are complemented by masonry on the exterior walls.

The structure was completed in June 2017.
