EXPI-DOOR® Systems Inc. was established in 1999 as an alternative to the existing door suppliers of that time. EXPI-DOOR® determined that there were many builders that wanted a higher grade of materials, quality workmanship, better customer service with more personalized attention, and long term product support.

Travels with Tony

“Travels with Tony” is a series that follows Tony Bouquot, Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA)’s general manager, as he visits notable metal buildings around the country.

In this episode, he visited us in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to show how metal buildings have been used to construct and expand our Corporate Headquarters. He also presented Bay Insulation Wisconsin division, one of our sister companies, with the MBMA safety award for going all 2022 with no incidents.

Heimburger Construction

Heimburger Construction began in 1978 with just one individual. Since then, they have grown due to the quality of their work, the relationships maintained with their customers, and the encouragement provided to their employees to grow professionally and personally. Heimburger Construction is committed to meeting building codes and their customers’ design needs, whether a basic metal “box” or an architecturally-pleasing retail or office space.

Well-versed in the installation of any pre-engineered or conventional steel building system, they self-perform all their own steel erection and often perform steel erection for other general contractors. In 2004, they also started their roof repair division to help with chronic leak problems in older buildings, and they often repair those roofs with little disruption to the tenants’ daily activities.

Originally, Heimburger Construction chose EXPI-DOOR because the doors came with the Butler buildings, but they continue to choose EXPI-DOOR, especially the pre-assembled Series 700 door, due to the excellent quality and available options.
