The Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville, also known as OCH Regional Medical Center, was founded more than 40 years ago and is a premiere hospital serving a seven-county region in northeastern Mississippi.
To further enhance their commitment to providing outstanding patient care, the hospital underwent a two phase expansion and renovation project. Phase one was comprised of an 87,000-square-foot, five-story addition, a 32,000-square-foot renovation, and a 100,000-square-foot, four-level parking deck. The addition and parking deck were built simultaneously. The hospital renovation portion included development of two floors of patient rooms (52 beds) and one floor of labor and delivery (8 beds), including two C-section rooms. Phase two of the project consisted of demolishing the interior space on three floors and reconstructing two floors of patient rooms (30 beds) and one floor of intensive care unit (five beds).

FormaBond is a thin, aluminum composite panel (ACM) that uses a proprietary reaction injection molding process to create panels that are stronger, flatter and offer excellent bond strength and impact resistance. This flexibility was especially helpful in creating the entrance canopy with curved bays that required the use of trapezoidal shapes.
The architect was Dean and Dean Associates of Jackson, MS. The CENTRIA products installer/dealer was National Panel Systems, Inc. of Wexford, PA. The contractor was Brasfield & Gorrie of Birmingham, AL.
