Builder Sentiment Inches Higher To End 2025, NAHB Says

Washington, DC - Builder confidence in the market for newly built single-family homes rose one point to 39 in December, according to the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB)/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index (HMI). Sentiment levels were below the breakeven point of 50 every month in 2025 and ranged in the high 30s in the final quarter of the year.
