Arlington, VA – Construction firms added 22,000 jobs in July and 82,000 over 12 months, as pay for craft workers climbed faster than for production workers overall, according to an analysis by the Associated General Contractors of America of newest government data. Association officials cautioned, however, that politics threaten to undermine two of the strongest performing construction sectors, public infrastructure and data center work.

Washington, DC – The AIA/Deltek Architecture Billings Index® (ABI) score was 47.3 for June. The Billings Index is a monthly survey of business activity among firms who are members of the American Institute of Architects. Although the score improved by nearly three points from May, it remained in negative territory, indicating most firms reported a decline in billings.
