Red Bud Industries Slitting Lines Installed For Two Customers In April

Red Bud, IL – Red Bud Industries has announced the successful installation of light-gauge slitting lines for a pair of North American manufacturers of metal construction products in mid-April. A line purchased by Ideal Roofing Company Limited, a metal building and roofing supplier located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, became operational on April 16. A similar line purchased by Lynchburg, VA-based NB Handy Company, a leading manufacturer of architectural sheet metal products for premium roofing systems, went online April 19.

AIA Billings Index Shows Demand For Design Services At Record Level

Washington, DC – Demand for design services from U.S. architecture firms continues to grow at a vigorous pace, according to a new report from The American Institute of Architects (AIA). AIA’s Architecture Billings Index (ABI) score for May rose to 58.5 compared to 57.9 in April (any score above 50 indicates an increase in billings). May’s ABI score is one of the highest in the index’s 25-year history.

Equipment Finance Industry Confidence Remains Steady in June

Washington, DC – The Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation (the Foundation) has released its June 2021 Monthly Confidence Index for the Equipment Finance Industry (MCI-EFI). The index reports a qualitative assessment of both the prevailing business conditions and expectations for the future as reported by key executives from the $900 billion equipment finance sector. Overall, confidence in the equipment finance market is 71.3, steady with the May index of 72.1.
