American Buildings Honors Builders For Excellence In Design

Charlotte, NC - American Buildings has announced the winners of its 2025 Excellence in Design Awards. The competition is designed to highlight the diverse application and expanding boundaries of the metal buildings industry. Through this competition, Authorized Builders are offered an outlet to exhibit their creativity and workmanship and illustrate how metal building systems meet the diverse needs of their customers, regardless of a project’s scale or intricacy.

Building of the Year - Baptist Health IcePlex

Each year, American Buildings hosts the Excellence in Design Awards competition for all Authorized American Builders. American Buildings works with Builders to transform ideas into reality and continuously expand the possibilities of metal building systems construction.

This year, judges chose from nearly 100 entries and selected the best projects in each of the following categories: Agriculture; Auto Dealership; Church/Religious Centers; Commercial; Government/Institutional; Manufacturing/Industrial; Office; Recreation; Retail; Special Projects; Transportation; and Warehouse/Distribution.

Recognized in each category were winners, first and second runners-up, and honorable mentions. The winners from each category were then nominated to compete for the top award: 2025 Building of the Year.
