When Lawrence Pavlinovic was researching door options for the hangar he planned to build on property he'd purchased at Frontier Airpark in Lake Stevens, WA, one name kept coming up. That's why the new hangar is outfitted with a liftstrap bifold door from Schweiss Doors.

The newly constructed dual-purpose shed at Thalmann Seed Farm is the definition of modern efficiency and versatility. Replacing a long-standing structure that had served the farm for many years, this new shed ushers in an exciting new era for the operation. Recurring roof leaks were becoming a problem with the original standing seam metal roof at the Fishkill (NY) Recreation building. To address the problem, the town opted for a Roof Hugger sub-framing system where the original roofing panels stay in place. The Roof Hugger sub-purlins fit over the seams of the 25-year-old metal panels and are attached through the old roof and into the original roof structural framing system.

The Citation jet, named Cloudkisser II, is as clean and slick as the new 100-foot by 100-foot hangar where it resides at the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport in Janesville, Wis. Among the hangar's many impressive features is its 80' x 22' liftstrap/autolatch bifold door from Schweiss Doors. The door is rated for 115 mph.
