AIA Survey Shows Firm Billings Strengthened To 12-Month High In January

Washington, DC – Starting the year on a strong note, architecture firm billings growth strengthened in January to a level not seen in the previous twelve months according to a new report from The American Institute of Architects (AIA). AIA’s Architecture Billings Index (ABI) score for January was 55.3 compared to 51.0 in December.

Construction Input Price Declines Carry Into 2019, Says ABC

Washington, DC - Construction input prices fell 0.7 percent on a monthly basis in January yet are up 1.6 percent year-over-year according to an Associated Builders and Contractors analysis of U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data released on February 14, 2019. Construction Employment Increases To 11-Year High In January

Architecture Billings Slow In December, But Remain Positive For 15th Straight Month

Washington, DC – Architecture firm billings growth softened in December but remained positive for the fifteenth consecutive month, according to a recently released report from The American Institute of Architects (AIA). AIA’s Architecture Billings Index (ABI) score for December was 50.4 compared to 54.7 in November. Despite the positive billings, a softening in growth was seen across several regions and sectors, as well as in project inquiries and design contracts.
