AGC Analysis Says Construction Industry Added 11,000 Jobs In January

Arlington, VA — The construction industry added 11,000 jobs in January despite bouts of exceptionally cold or stormy weather that delayed projects in numerous regions, according to an analysis of new government data the Associated General Contractors of America. Association officials noted that firms are boosting wages and taking other steps to attract more workers as firms try to keep pace with relatively strong demand.

AIA's Latest Billings Index Shows Midwest Sector To Be Strongest

Equipment Finance Industry Confidence Jumps In January

Washington, DC — The Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation (the Foundation) has released its January 2024 Monthly Confidence Index for the Equipment Finance Industry (MCI-EFI). The index reports a qualitative assessment of both the prevailing business conditions and expectations for the future as reported by key executives from the $1 trillion equipment finance sector. Overall, confidence in the equipment finance market is 48.6, an increase from the December index of 42.5.

ATAS Announces Retirement Of Key Team Member Dave Weidl

Allentown, PA - After 22 years of service with ATAS International, Dave Weidl has announced his retirement. Weidl joined ATAS as a Product Representative, whose territory included the state of Ohio, and portions of Kentucky and Indiana. In 2017, he was promoted to Architectural Business Development Manager. This position also included the development and management of corporate accounts, and Weidl was instrumental in company growth in both areas.
