Kemin Industries is a nutritional ingredient manufacturer for the world market. The Kemin Industries project in Des Moines, IA, offered a unique retrofit experience.

The existing vinyl backed fiberglass insulation batting was falling down and dirty. The Kemin management team needed an upgrade that included a ceiling that would require little or no maintenance. The new ceiling would also need to be able to be cleaned if needed. The challenge of working around highly specialized equipment and 40 foot ceilings demanded a system that installs quickly and easily with the least amount of disruption to production.

The HIGH-R insulation system was the answer to Kemin Industries’ situation. The install of the HIGH-R system was done primarily at night when the plant’s production lines were shut down.
