Janet Wells Architect of Arcadia, LA, oversaw the modernization of living units under the management of the Vernon Parish Housing Authority in Leesville, LA. For the roofs of the involved buildings, Wells specified Instaloc roofing panels from Architectural Building Components. The project's general contractor, John Gibbs Roofing of Bossier City, LA, handled the installation of the 16"-wide, 24-gauge, Hemlock Green panels.

ABC’s 1”-tall Instaloc system is the installer-friendly alternative to labor-intensive, mechanically seamed or pan and batten panels. Instaloc is a one-piece snap together system designed for installation on solid deck on commercial or residential applications with slopes 3:12 or greater where a 1” tall seam and a narrower panel are desired. The Instaloc clips allow for unlimited thermal movement.

For outstanding design, construction and craftsmanship, the project received an ABC Job of the Month award for July 2007.
