At the Ceridian Corporation Headquarters in Bloomington, MN, the Minneapolis, MN, office Hammel Green and Abrahamson Inc. specified ALPOLIC® MCM (metal composite material) with mill-finish copper face sheets. Approximately 32,500 sq. ft. of the 4mm-thick material was used.

Mitsubishi Chemical FP America Inc. of Chesapeake, VA, is the manufacturer of ALPOLIC® brand composite materials. And like its standard aluminum composite product, the company’s standard copper composite material is 4mm thick and features a polyethylene core.

Metal Specialty Systems Inc. of Lakeville, MN, fabricated the material for use as spandrel panels in the building’s curtainwall system. They were installed using a rout and return dry seal attachment system.

McGough Construction Co., St. Paul, MN, was the project’s general contractor. Hannon Inc. of Golden Valley, MN, was the curtainwall fabricator.
