Parker Ranch Shopping Center, Waimea, HI, was reroofed with corrugated metal panels, installed over an existing screw-down roof with the aid of Roof Hugger retrofit roof framing.

The new 2.67 x 7/8” corrugated panels, furnished by HPM Building Supply, Custom Metal Roofing, Honolulu, HI, were formed from 24-gauge steel and feature a Kynar finish. The panels were attached to 1.83”-high Roof Huggers which were installed onto the existing 1-1/2”-high R panels.

The roofing contractor for the 70,000 sq. ft. project was Buck’s Roofing. The general contractor was KKCC of Kallua, Kona, HI. Designer/engineer was Group 70 International, Honolulu, HI. Waterproofing consultant was PRO-SRV Consulting, Lahaina, Maui, HI.
