This warehouse project in the Tampa East Industrial Park, Tampa, FL, was reroofed with vertical rib metal panels, installed over an existing screw-down roof with the aid of Roof Hugger retrofit roof framing.
The new panels with 16” o.c. vertical ribs were rollformed on-site by Fabral, Lancaster, PA. The panels, in lengths up to 105’, were formed from 24-gauge steel. They were attached to 1.83”-high Roof Huggers that were installed onto the existing metal R panels.
The roofing contractor for the 80,000 sq. ft. project was Nu-Tec Roofing Contractors. Designer/engineer was LawGibb Engineering Group.
