Varco Pruden Buildings Hires Rob Schaeffer As New District Manager

Memphis, TN - Varco Pruden Buildings announces the appointment of Rob Schaeffer as district manager for south Texas, effective immediately. In his newly-appointed role, Schaeffer will be responsible for Varco Pruden’s business development and builder support. He will report to Chuck Powers, sales manager for Varco Pruden’s central region.

“Rob’s work for one of the nation’s top commercial construction product manufacturers has given him deep sales and business development knowledge and expertise. He brings tremendous experience which will help Varco Pruden give a higher level of service to both current and prospective builders,” said Powers.

Prior to joining Varco Pruden, Schaeffer was a national sales manager for Dunbarton Corporation. And he previously served as business development director for a commercial building products sales agency firm, where he oversaw a complete restructure of the company, sales force and financials.

Schaeffer began his 27-year career as a commercial general contractor. He has held several positions within sales and business development in the construction materials and hardware industries.

Schaeffer holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Southeast Missouri State University.
