Hammers Construction Named Metallic Builder Of The Year

Houston, TX - Hammers Construction, Inc. (HCI) of Perham, Minnesota has been awarded Metallic Building Company's Builder of the Year award, presented at the recent Metallic National Sales Meeting in Carlsbad, California.

This prestigious honor is given to builders who excel in their business, not only in sales, but also in construction quality and service to their local market. The Builder of the Year also exemplifies partnership and aligns their mission with the core mission of the manufacturer.

As in past years, Metallic commissioned a unique glass statue, crafted by internationally-renowned glass artist, Bill Meek, to present to Joe Hammers, President of Hammers Construction, Inc. “I was happy to accept this award on behalf of my co-workers here at Hammers Construction. This isn’t anything I did on my own; we have a great team of driven and focused people that share our family’s passion for building. We also have the best customers in the world that continually challenge and push us forward,” said Hammers.

Not only is HCI a long time employer in the City of Perham, but also a proud supporter of the Perham community and generously provides financial and in-kind donations to the local community. It was noted that Metallic is proud to name them Builder of the Year for their achievements as a business partner and civic leader.

When asked about his relationship with Hammers Construction, Kurt Pesch, District Manager said, “I started my career at Hammers working with Joe’s grandfather in 1977. Now as a Metallic District Sales Manager, I enjoy continuing to work with Hammers because they do an excellent job of constructing metal buildings that are true design build projects.
