Laminators Inc. Technical Sales Engineer Passes CDT Exam

Hatfield, PA – Christopher Bucci, Technical Sales Engineer at Laminators Inc. recently passed the Construction Specifications Institute’s (CSI) rigorous testing to become a certified Construction Documents Technologist (CDT).

Bucci has a combined 15 years of experience in engineering and management, of which one is with Laminators Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering with a structural concentration from Widener University in Chester, PA. For his graduate work, he completed Widener’s dual MEng/MBA program; a coordinated, dual master’s degree program jointly administered by the Schools of Engineering and Business Administration with concentrations in structural rehabilitation and engineering management, respectively.

Bucci is a licensed engineer in the state of Pennsylvania and has practiced as both a structural design professional and a forensic engineer. Prior to his career in engineering, he was a sales and management professional in the retail, telecom and hospitality industries.

Bucci is the third employee at Laminators Inc. to receive a CDT certificate. Shawn Crouthamel, National Sales Manager, and Scott Leonard, Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest and Upper Midwest regions, have also received their CDT certificates.

According to CSI, those who pass the CDT exam are an “elite group of professionals known in the industry for their comprehensive knowledge of the writing and management of construction documents. CSI’s CDT program has provided foundation training in construction documentation for architects, contractors, contract administrators, specifiers, and manufacturers’ representatives for decades.”
