Kingspan Enhances Prize List For Winning Generation Kingspan Entries

Deland, FL - Kingspan continues to expand and enhance its student architecture competition, Generation Kingspan, adding the A240 version of ARCKIT to the list of prizes the top three winners will receive.

ARCKIT is a hands-on way to bring architectural products to life. It's modeled on modern paneled construction and is available in three different sized kits depending on the size of the structure being modeled. The system uses interconnecting components that are completely modular and require no glue, making it possible to create a diverse range of scaled structures that can be quickly assembled and endlessly modified.

“There had been plenty of innovation in the area of 3D computer models, but this was of little use to clients who find imagery and drawings difficult to understand,” states Damien Murtagh, professional architect and creator of ARCKIT. “So we decided to develop a system of our own. ARCKIT allows architects to design, build and modify detailed, scaled structures faster than ever before.”

Another feature of ARCKIT includes the ARCKITEXTURE library. Detailed surface textures, provided by actual building component manufacturers, can be downloaded, printed and added to the finished model.
