Herron Joins Englert As Facilities & Engineering Manager

Shelvin Herron

Perth Amboy, NJ - Shelvin Herron has joined Englert, Inc. as facilities and engineering manager. In his role he will be responsible for all equipment, systems and buildings at the company.

Herron joins Englert from John Bean Technologies Corporation where he worked for four years as a field engineer in Dubai on the southeast coast of the Persian Gulf, providing training and service for the integration of laser-guided vehicles used in warehousing in private industry. Prior to that he worked for 10 years in the electrical engineering department at Northrop Grumman Technical Services in Virginia on electronic equipment used on U.S. Navy aircraft carriers and submarines.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Hampton University in Virginia. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force, most of that time at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia working on systems administration. He left the service with the rank of staff sergeant. Herron is a native of Somerset, New Jersey.
