NCI Building Systems Names Don Riley President, Group Business Segments

Houston, TX - NCI Building Systems, Inc. (NYSE: NCS), a leading manufacturer of metal products for the nonresidential building industry, announces that it has named Don Riley President, Group Business Segments. In this newly created position Riley will join the senior leadership team reporting to Norman Chambers, Chairman, President and CEO of NCI.
Riley will be responsible for driving profitable growth for NCI’s three business segments, Metal Coil Coating, Metal Components, and Engineered Building Systems. In the same way manufacturing was centralized under John Kuzdal’s leadership team last year, Riley will focus on brand financial performance. This new structure will enhance the brand leaders’ focus on customer relationships, sales and service. Riley’s focus will be on specific brand strategies, sharing best practices, further developing shared services to reduce costs and collaborating to bring the best solutions to NCI’s varied customer segments.

Don brings a distinguished track record of performance, based on applying his seasoned leadership and solid background in supply chain management and technology applications for multi-brand strategies.”
Riley is an accomplished executive with more than 20 years of diverse experience and is known for delivering meaningful improvement through strategic planning, organizational development and multi brand execution. He began his career as an engineer with Singer: Link Flight Simulation in Houston and has expertise in supply chain, logistics, information technology and sales and marketing from his time with EDS, Kellwood Company and Mohawk Industries. In Riley’s last role as Executive Vice President at ProBuild he led the transformation of the sales, marketing and manufacturing organization resulting in sustained improvement to the top and bottom-line.
Riley is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science with honors in Mechanical Engineering. He has been affiliated with many community organizations through the years such as United Way and Junior Achievement. Riley was awarded 2006 Computerworld Award for Top 100 IT Professionals and the 2010 Global Top 10 Breakaway Leader of the Year.
