IMETCO Acquires Martin Fireproofing, Increases Building Envelope Offering

Norcross, GA - IMETCO (Innovative Metals Company, Inc.) announces its acquisition of Martin Fireproofing Corp., a Williamsville, NY-based manufacturer of specialty metal roof deck systems. Martin Fireproofing will merge with IMETCO, and its products will continue to be sold under the Martin Fireproofing brand name.

“This partnership solidifies our commitment to provide solutions that truly encompass the entire building envelope. It will allow us to provide a single-source warranty for the roof deck and roof system, a valuable benefit to our customers,” explained Joe Orlando, president of IMETCO.

Martin Fireproofing and their flagship Perform-A-Deck product have a highly-regarded reputation within the industry and as a standard-setter for hurricane and tornado enhanced roof systems. When integrated with IMETCO’s structural roof panel, the system is engineered and tested to resist extreme wind and debris impact as defined by the FEMA 361 Design and Construction Guidance for Community Safe Rooms.
