Mid-West Steel Building Company Adds Ben Horner As District Manager

Ben Horner

Houston, TX - Ed Kohutek, President of Mid-West Steel Building Company, announces the addition of Ben Horner as a Mid-West District Manager. Horner’s territory includes Dallas/Ft. Worth and Northwest Texas.

Horner, originally from San Antonio, graduated from at Texas A&M in College Station with a degree in Civil Engineering. He received his P.E. certification from California in 2014.

Horner’s background includes hands-on construction experience as well, including expertise in the administrative and supervisory aspects of successfully managing job sites.

Most recently, Horner was employed by NCI, where he learned structural design and design processes for everything from simple buildings to heavy industrial buildings with cranes and large hydraulic doors. In addition, he gained experience with a variety of design software and a much deeper understanding of building codes by testing software to ensure proper implementation of IBC 2012 and AISC 2010.
