A graduate of Penn State University’s School of Architecture, Trenga is a former Board member and Chairman of the Education committee for the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) chapter in South Carolina. He is LEED® AP certified and a current board member for GreenWizard.

During his early career years, Trenga gained extensive experience during six years with Neil Stevenson Architects.
