Tony Chiovare, Metal Roofing Industry Veteran, Passes Away

Rancho Cucamonga, CA - Tony Chiovare, a long-time veteran of the commercial and residential metal roofing industries, passed away at age 71 on December 28, 2015. He was well known for his keen business acumen and gracious demeanor.
Chiovare's career as a top-level executive spanned decades. While his company's strongest presence was in the western portion of the country, it supplied metal roofing for a vast range of projects throughout the United States and beyond.
An early and very strong proponent of metal roofing for residential use, Chiovare was also a pioneer in the promotion of cool metal roofing products. He played an active role in industry-wide promotion of metal roofing and was heavily involved in the formation of policies and practices through the Metal Construction Association, Metal Roofing Alliance, Cool Roof Ratings Council and U.S. Green Building Council among other groups.
A celebration of Tony Chiovare's life will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Upland, CA. Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Bellevue Memorial Park in Ontario, CA.
