Bryan Wood Elected To Lead Montana Manufacturing Association

Laurel, MT - Bryan Wood, CEO of Laurel MT-based Wood's Powr-Grip® (WPG™), was recently elected Chair of the Montana Manufacturing Association (MMA). WPG™ is a leading manufacturer/supplier of vacuum lifting equipment that is used for handling insulated metal panels and other cladding materials on construction jobsites and within production and warehousing facilities.

Wood follows Tom Spika of Spika Design & Manufacturing in Lewistown, MT, as the MMA's Chair.

“I look forward to continuing the great work that Tom has started,” Wood said. “Our focus for the coming year will be on workforce development in the manufacturing sector, as well as preparing for the 2017 Legislative Session.”

Wood’s Powr-Grip® is a past winner of the Manufacturer of the Year award. Governor Steve Bullock also appointed Bryan Wood to the Manufacturing KIN of his Main Street Montana program.

The Montana Manufacturing Association is the statewide association for manufacturers and their supporters. The MMA formed in 2001 (known then as the Montana Manufacturing Council) as a subsidiary of the Montana Chamber of Commerce.
