Chief Buildings Names Dave Koubek As President And General Manager

Grand Island, NE - Dave Koubek has accepted the position of President and General Manager at Chief Buildings, following the recent retirement of John Price. Koubek's appointment was announced by DJ Eihusen, President and CEO of Chief Industries, parent company of Chief Buildings.
Originally from Omaha, NE, Koubek graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 1985 with a bachelors degree in construction management. He joined Chief Buildings in 1985 as an Estimator and in 1986 moved to Project Management. In 1988 he moved to Massachusetts to run the New England territory as a District Manager, and later moved to take over the New York State territory.
In 1995, Koubek moved to Chief's headquarters in Grand Island, NE to assume the General Sales Manager position which he held until 2007. While in the General Sales Manager position he attended Bellevue University and earned his Master’s in Business Administration. In 2007, Koubek became Manufacturing Manager and then in 2011 he was named Vice President of Operations.
