Metal Construction Association Welcomes Four New Member Companies

Chicago, IL The Metal Construction Association (MCA) welcomes four new member companies. California Panel Systems, CEI Composites, Duro-Last Roofing and Mill Steel have joined the association’s ranks of more than 75 member companies with specialties in the metal construction industry.

Based in El Cajon, Calif., California Panel Systems is Southern California’s premier metal panel manufacturer and distributor. “We joined MCA for two primary reasons: to learn from industry leaders what new techniques and technologies lie ahead, and to network and share industry challenges and solutions with top tier companies in our field,” said Scott Hollingsworth, vice president, Californian Panel Systems.

CEI Composite Materials of Manchester, Mich. is a full service provider of architectural metal panel systems and components for the commercial construction industry. “Joining the MCA gives us the opportunity to collaborate with others in the metal construction industry,” said Jeff Henry, CEO, CEI Composite Materials.

Duro-Last Roofing is the world's largest manufacturer of custom prefabricated, thermoplastic single-ply roofing systems. The company’s headquarters are in Saginaw Mich., with additional manufacturing facilities in Texas, Oregon, Mississippi and Iowa.

“As new players in the steep slope metal roofing industry, EXCEPTIONAL Metals is excited and honored to join the MCA,” said Mike Gwizdala, director of product management for EXCEPTIONAL Metals and Duro-Last, Inc. “Joining the MCA will allow us to better understand the industry and keep up on new product offerings, industry trends as well as access a wealth of technical resources. Being able to network with other companies who have been in the business for many years will be another valuable benefit.”

Mill Steel is one of North America’s premier flat-rolled steel suppliers. Headquartered in Grand Rapids, Mich., the company serves the automotive and non-automotive transport; appliance; office furniture; commercial construction; HVAC; home goods and agriculture industries.

MCA member companies benefit from participation in association activities that focus on research, codes and standards, market development, and technical programs. The association works to increase the use of metal materials in construction by educating the building and design communities about the benefits of metal.
