Green Span Profiles Expands Insulated Metal Panel Manufacturing Facility

Waller, TX - Green Span Profiles used the company’s own insulated metal wall and roofing panels to add 20,000 square feet of manufacturing space to its Waller, Texas, headquarters and plant.

“The demand for product during the last year precluded the expansion,” said Brian N. Jaks, P.E., Vice President, Sales & Marketing at Green Span Profiles. “The increase in production dictated the need for additional finished goods storage.”

Green Span Profiles’ MesaLine heavy embossed wall panels, measuring 2-1/2 inches thick with a 26-gauge facer and liner were installed. The 42-inch panels were Sandstone in color. The roofing was the company’s RidgeLine standing seam product, also 42-inches wide and 2-1/2 inches thick with 26-gauge facer and liner, in Regal White III.

Drymalla Construction of Columbus, Texas, served as the general contractor for the expansion, while Jedco Building Systems of Houston furnished and erected the structure and installed the insulated metal roof and wall panels from Green Span Profiles. Al Zuniga, P.E., was the engineer for the project and J.W. Carpenter & Co. of Houston served as the architect.

The Green Span Profiles facility, originally constructed in 2011, houses the most modern technology available.
