American Buildings Company Honors Builders And Roofers For Excellence In Design

The Building of the Year winner was Syracuse University Ensley Athletic Center. The American Buildings Company Builder was Hayner Hoyt Corporation.

Eufaula, AL - American Buildings Company (ABC) has announced the winners of its 2016 Excellence in Design Awards. Each project showcases new designs that illustrate innovative metal system construction.

Each year, ABC hosts the Excellence in Design Awards competition for all authorized ABC builders and Architectural Metal Systems (AMS) roofers. ABC works with builders and roofers in helping them transform ideas into actual designs.

Project winners were chosen, by neutral judges, from each of the following categories: Agricultural; Auto Dealerships; Church/Religious Center; Commercial; Government/Institutional; Manufacturing/Industrial; Office; Recreation; Retail; Roofing; Special Projects; Transportation; and Warehouse/Distribution.

Also recognized in each category were winners, first and second runner-ups, and honorable mentions. The winners from each category were then nominated to compete for the top award: 2016 Building of the Year.
