ATAS Introduces Dutch Seam Metal Roof Installation Videos
Allentown, PA -ATAS International has added a series of instructional videos for the installation of their Dutch Seam standing seam metal roof panels. Each short video is animated to address a particular detail. These include installation of the underlayment, drip edge, valley pan, gable trim, and ridge cap - in addition to the metal panels - and can be found at https://www.atas.com/videos.
The new videos provide contractors with easy-to-follow, step-by-step audio and written instructions, along with visual demonstration of the installation process. Additional videos are being developed to address roof penetrations and for the installation of other ATAS roof and wall panel profiles.
Further general instruction of metal roof installation is offered by the Metal Construction Association, of which ATAS is a member. A comprehensive instruction manual is available by the MCA, along with an exam to verify understanding of the material. Upon successful completion, a certificate is issued stating that the person has demonstrated a knowledge base in metal roof installation essentials and is considered a trained metal roof installer.
