AkzoNobel Debuts New Finishes At METALCON 2017

Columbus, OH - AkzoNobel will introduce exciting new finishes for interior and exterior metal applications at METALCON 2017 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, October 18 - 20. The new appearances, which include innovative textures, will be on display at the AkzoNobel booth along with other popular products including CERAM-A-STAR® Matte, CERAM-A-STAR® Frost, TRINAR® Mirage, and TRINAR® AG (Anti-Graffiti).

Visitors to the AkzoNobel booth can also learn more about COILTEC™ CF65, a revolutionary new primer that is completely chrome free. Developed specially for the building products market, COILTEC CF65 delivers effective corrosion protection for metal substrates without the use of chromium. This new primer, which is backed by nearly 20 years of test data and performance history from numerous installations in the field, is now commercially available.

AkzoNobel will also unveil Canopy, a new digital app which provides a color finder, product information, and the latest AkzoNobel news. Customers will be able to download Canopy at METALCON 2017 and are encouraged to visit our booth for a demonstration of the app.

AkzoNobel's presence at METALCON in October coincides with the 30th anniversary of TRINAR, their 70 percent PVDF coating. The first batch of TRINAR was produced at AkzoNobel’s Columbus, Ohio manufacturing site in August of 1987. Since its introduction, TRINAR has continued to provide essential protection, finish and color to buildings across North America.
