SRUI Elects 2018 Board Of Directors

Chicago, IL – The Synthetic Roof Underlayment Institute (SRUI) met in Las Vegas, NV to conduct the first open election of the board of directors. All six board positions where up for election.

Elected for a one year term were former Chairman, Mark Strait (Kirsch Building Products), and Michael DiStefano, (Continental Materials, Inc.) Elected to a term of two years were Mickey Gay, (Perma “R” Products, Inc.) and Bruce Hayden, (Alpha ProTech, Inc.) Mark Tupas, (Owens Corning, Inc) and Tyler Kruckenberg, (System Components) were elected for a term of three years.

Gay was elected by the board to serve as Chairman, and Hayden was elected to serve as Treasurer. Officers of the board serve a term of two years.

“I am honored and excited to serve as SRUI Chairman” stated Gay. “With the development of a new and solid Strategic Plan, I believe our association has established an agenda that will build the brand and add value to all members.”
