According to an announcement by Beckers, "BeckryTech is based on a resin chemistry that is less reactive to UV light than the leading Silicone Modified Polyesters (SMP) products on the market. It even resists the water 'hazing' effect so commonly found in coil coated SMP products today.

"The Super-Durable Polyester product line is used around the world for high end projects and meets AAMA 2604 in all color families. In certain color families, BeckryTech will approach or meet the performance specifications of AAMA 2605, a common requirement for Hylar/Kynar systems.
