Arkema Introduces Kynar Aquatec® PVDF Specification Guide For Cool Roof Coatings

King Of Prussia, PA - Arkema Inc. introduced its new Kynar Aquatec® PVDF specification guide for cool roof coatings applications at the 2018 International Roofing Expo in New Orleans, LA.

The 14-page guide is divided into the Construction Specifier Institute’s three-part format and written in concise language to facilitate the evaluation of coating systems for meeting a cool-roof project’s long life, durability and sustainability goals.

Kynar Aquatec® PVDF emulsions provide the same durability and color-retention benefits as Kynar 500® resin-based coatings in a waterborne form. Kynar Aquatec® resin-based coatings can be used for a wide variety of roofing applications, as well as metal restoration and repair projects.
