BRIGHTSMITH LLC Adds Day As Vice President And General Manager

Morrisville, PA - BRIGHTSMITH LLC announces that Tim Day has joined the company as their new Vice President and General Manager. He joins Tiffany Hutcheson, Assistant General Manager, in leading the company's coil coating operations, as well as the post-painting operations in Trenton, NJ.
BRIGHTSMITH is celebrating their 10th anniversary in 2018.
Prior to joining BRIGHTSMITH, Day spent the last eight years in a variety of positions with Canam Group (Canam Steel Corporation) out of South Plainfield, NJ, most recently serving as their Senior Vice President of Operations. After college, Day worked at Bouras Industries, a manufacturer of siding, roofing, steel joists, decking, and coil coating, and he ran the company for seven years. He also managed the steel joist and deck operations for Commercial Metals Company for three years, before going to work for Canam. Day has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Penn State University.

The post-painting facility of BRIGHTSMITH Coaters is led by Plant Manager Keith Schultz. Tony Bus, Product and Process Manager, assists in the daily operations and continuous improvements to the post-painting process. Day will help with overseeing this facility in Trenton, NJ, and exploring ways to grow their offering of painting services to a wide variety of customers.
