Hammerhead Industries Introduces New Side-Release Wrist Lanyard
Ventura, CA – Hammerhead Industries has announced the availability of the Deluxe TL1-2007 side release wrist lanyard system for tools up to 5 lbs. This ANSI-121 compliant product is ideal for situations where a short drop length is critical,
such as climbing or working in close quarters.
In contrast to some off-the-shelf products, Gear Keeper tethering systems insure dependable ANSI-121 safety and quality, a result of the company’s stringent quality control systems. Quality assurance testing includes dynamic and static
testing, drop load testing with up to a 100% safety margin and cycle testing for safe, productive use and long life.
The TL1-2007 is attached to the wrist by a loop-and-cinch Velcro strap and connected to the tool by a 10” lanyard with a barrel lock. Productivity is increased by the company’s patented Quick Connect tool attachment connectors that
permit secure, fast and easy connection / disconnection of tools. Users can quickly change-out many tools by simply having extra lanyards attached to the tools they will need. Change-outs are facilitated by unclicking one tool and clicking-in
another.
The full line of Gear Keeper ANSI-compliant tethers and accessories, with pricing, can be seen on the company’s website at gearkeeper.com . A free, 16-page, 2019
edition of the “Safety Engineer’s Guide to Tool Tethering” is available by logging onto gearkeeper.com/guide or by calling Customer Service
at 888-588-9981. The new Guide also includes a 4-page section showing how to easily and safely tether tools with and without attachment points as well as related product information.
